Members of the Mississippi Access to Justice Commission attended the 2011 ABA Equal Justice Conference in Las Vegas, NV. They participated in four days of workshops, presentations, and strategy sessions about providing justice for all. The emphasis of the conference this year was strengthening partnerships among the key players in the civil justice system. The sessions explored the new issues that legal services clients are facing and innovative solutions for meeting their needs.
Mississippi participants included representatives from Mississippi Center for Legal Services, North Mississippi Rural Legal Services, Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project, Mississippi Center for Justice, Mississippi Bar Association, and the Commission.
